How a configuration is built
The higher the tonnage, the more foam pattern machines, the larger the melting furnace and the deeper the casting cleaning area. The equipment stays the same: only the number and size of each item change, so the plant grows in modules, without rebuilding the shop.
Every configuration is built on two technologies: lost foam casting (LFC) and the V-process (vacuum-film molding). Combined plants use both; separate configurations cover machining of finished parts and the casting of billets.
How to choose
- Start from the monthly volume you can actually sell: the configurations are laid out by tonnage.
- Check the floor area: 200–300 m² for 10 t/month, 300–600 m² for 50–100 t/month, and from 500 m² if you add machining.
- Decide what you need at the output: a raw casting or a finished part. Machining, painting and quality control are not part of every configuration.
- If your product range is mixed, look at the combined plants: one site covers several casting technologies.
