Automated mini-plant with machining, 40-50 t/month

  • from $780,000 Price
  • 40-50 t/month Capacity
Vertical CNC milling machine for machining castings
The CNC milling machine in the finished-part machining section.

This automated plant produces 40-50 tonnes of finished parts a month - parts ready to install, not rough castings.

It covers melting, automatic molding by lost foam, V-process or green sand, CNC machining, painting and quality control, on 500 m2 or more. The package costs $780,000.

What this configuration gives you

A genuine turnkey solution. Casting and machining in one package: the plant ships a part ready to install, not a rough casting for someone else to finish.

Batch and small-batch production. Three molding routes - lost foam, V-process and green sand - cover both runs of hundreds of parts and one-off orders economically.

Lower unit cost through automation. The automatic molding line and the CNC machines take most of the manual operations out of the cycle.

Minimal dependence on subcontractors. Machining, painting and quality control happen on site, so lead times and quality no longer depend on outside shops.

Who it suits

  • Companies that need finished parts for engineering, construction and equipment manufacturing.
  • Businesses bidding for tenders and public contracts that favor locally produced goods.
  • Existing machining plants closing the loop with their own foundry.

How the plant works

  1. Charge scrap or burden into the melting furnaces
  2. Mold on the automatic line and pour the molds
  3. Clean the castings and machine them on the CNC equipment
  4. Inspect, paint and pack
  5. Ship finished parts or pass them into further production

What the delivery includes

  • Process training: from raw material preparation and molding through to finishing, in theory and in practice.
  • Machine training: settings, operating modes and maintenance of the CNC and auxiliary equipment.
  • Staff training for process engineers, CNC operators, quality inspectors and foundry workers.
  • 12-month equipment warranty, including free repair of any faults.
  • Process support at start-up: inspection of every unit and set-up of the production flow.
  • Ramp-up to the rated output, with checks on casting and machining quality.
  • Handover to full autonomy: process instructions and contacts of vetted material suppliers.
  • Supervised installation: assembly, commissioning and a test run on your site.
  • Ongoing technical support after production starts.

Frequently asked questions

How does this plant differ from the purely foundry configurations?

It ships a finished part rather than a casting. The package includes a CNC milling machine, a lathe, a vertical slotting machine, a hydraulic press, a paint line and packing preparation.

Which molding processes are available?

Three: lost foam, V-process and green sand. For each part you choose the one that gives the required accuracy at the lowest cost.

How long does start-up take?

From 4 months after the contract, including manufacture, delivery, supervised installation and staff training.
