What this configuration gives you

An extended production cycle. The plant covers everything from foam pattern making to heat treatment of the castings: the bead blowing unit, the metal analysis laboratory, the pentane meter and the chamber furnace are all part of the package.

A doubled pattern shop. Two MT-400 machines run in parallel and the blowing unit fills the dies evenly, which removes scrap caused by uneven filling.

Strong melting capacity. The 160 kg thyristor induction furnace heats fast and economically while the resistance furnace stays in reserve - three or more heats a day.

Deeper casting cleaning. Besides tumbling, the package includes an overhead shot blasting machine for thorough surface cleaning and an electric furnace for heat treatment that improves the metal structure.

Who it suits

  • Companies working on large, regular orders.
  • Plants that need full process control, from metal chemistry to part geometry.
  • Businesses planning further automation and growth beyond 30 tonnes a month.

What is included

  • Monoblock unit with two flasks
  • 160 kg thyristor induction furnace
  • Resistance furnace
  • MT-400 semi-automatic foam pattern machine (2 units)
  • Bead blowing unit
  • Drying cabinet
  • Dissolver for refractory coating
  • Casting ladle
  • Foam milling machine
  • Hot-wire foam cutting machine
  • Tumbling barrel
  • Overhead dead-end shot blasting machine
  • Bogie-hearth chamber electric furnace
  • Laboratory unit for chemical analysis of heats
  • Pentane meter

How the plant works

  1. Make foam patterns on two semi-automatic machines in parallel
  2. Blow and fill the dies evenly, coat and dry the patterns
  3. Mold in the monoblock flask unit and pour the melt
  4. Clean by tumbling and shot blasting, then heat treat in the chamber furnace
  5. Check the chemical composition and the geometry before dispatch

What the delivery includes

  • Process training: from raw material preparation and molding through to finishing, in theory and in practice.
  • Machine training: settings, operating modes and maintenance of the CNC and auxiliary equipment.
  • Staff training for process engineers, CNC operators, quality inspectors and foundry workers.
  • 12-month equipment warranty, including free repair of any faults.
  • Process support at start-up: inspection of every unit and set-up of the production flow.
  • Ramp-up to the rated output, with checks on casting and machining quality.
  • Handover to full autonomy: process instructions and contacts of vetted material suppliers.
  • Supervised installation: assembly, commissioning and a test run on your site.
  • Ongoing technical support after production starts.

Frequently asked questions

What is the installed power of the 20 t/month plant?

222 kW. The increase over the 10 t/month configuration comes from the 160 kg induction furnace, the second pattern machine and the casting cleaning area.

What is added compared with the 10 t/month plant?

A second MT-400 pattern machine, a 160 kg thyristor induction furnace instead of the 80 kg one, a shot blasting machine, a chamber furnace for heat treatment, a metal analysis laboratory and a pentane meter.

Why do you need a laboratory and a pentane meter?

The laboratory confirms the chemistry of each heat, the viscometer checks the refractory coating viscosity and the pentane meter monitors residual pentane in the foam patterns. Together they keep quality stable on safety-critical parts.
