One range, two processes

FENIX molding lines cover equipment for two molding processes: lost foam casting (LFC, where an expanded-polystyrene pattern is replaced by molten metal) and V-process (vacuum sealed molding, where film, dry binder-free sand and vacuum form the cavity and the reusable pattern is removed before pouring). Aylin‑2026 and Diana‑2026 support both processes; the right configuration is chosen from the part range, alloy, volume and quality requirements, not from a single figure.

Proprietary engineering

  • A molding carousel with a hopper is the core unit of the horizontal V-process line, responsible for fast, consistent molding; pressure builds in the hopper rather than in a spray gun, giving even material distribution and fewer defects.
  • A vacuum crane moves vacuum to any point in the shop, simplifying workflow on lines with several molding stations.
  • Modern Technologies’ vertical V-process system runs in both flasked and flaskless configurations — a flexibility V-process molding did not have before.
  • Automated metal pouring is controlled by joystick and program: less risk of defects from manual pouring, and less operator contact with molten metal.
