What this configuration gives you

The whole cycle in one system. The package covers everything from bead expansion and foam pattern making to pouring the metal and finishing the castings, with no intermediate subcontractors.

Two foam machines. The CNC milling machine produces complex, accurate shapes; the hot-wire machine cuts large blocks quickly. Together they widen the range of parts you can make without expensive tooling.

Reliable pattern coating. The dissolver applies the refractory coating evenly - the key condition for consistent casting quality.

A compact footprint. All equipment fits into 200⁠-⁠300 m2, so the plant can go into rented premises with no capital construction.

Low tooling cost. Lost foam casting itself removes the need for complex split dies, and the two furnace types let you manage energy use flexibly.

How the plant works

  1. Make foam patterns on the semi-automatic machine or the CNC machines
  2. Apply the refractory coating and dry the patterns
  3. Set the pattern in the flask, fill with dry sand and pour the melt
  4. Shake out, clean and, where required, machine and paint the parts

Frequently asked questions

How does the base package differ from the $130,000 plant at the same 10 t/month?

By its content. The base package has 11 items and melts in a resistance furnace. The $130,000 configuration adds an 80 kg induction furnace, a casting ladle, a tumbling barrel and a filter unit, which is what makes two to three heats a day and a shorter cycle possible.

Can the plant be built up to 20 or 30 tonnes a month?

Yes. You add pattern machines, a larger induction furnace and more flasks; the cleaning area is extended with a shot blasting machine and a heat treatment furnace.

What premises does the base package need?

200⁠-⁠300 m2, enough for the white shop (foam patterns) and the black shop (molding, melting, pouring and cleaning).
