Turnkey Die Casting Mini-Plant
- The die casting mini-plant is an integrated production solution designed for series production of parts in aluminum, zinc, and magnesium alloys with high dimensional accuracy and minimal post-processing needs. Main process equipment: Die-casting machine: The key piece of equipment; the choice of type (hot chamber for zinc/magnesium or cold chamber for aluminum) is determined by the casting alloy. Main functions: injecting the melt into the die under high pressure, forming the part, and automatically ejecting it. Melting furnace: Supplied as a crucible or induction unit to maintain a stable melt temperature and feed it to the die-casting machine, often with direct integration. Dies (tooling): Made of steel with a cooling system; their configuration is strictly matched to the geometry of the specific part and is the main factor determining the quality and precision of the final item.
Auxiliary equipment:
- Metal doser/pouring machine: Provides precise, metered feed of molten metal into the die-casting machine’s shot sleeve.
- Robot or manipulator: Designed for automated extraction of finished castings from the die, improving cycle throughput and safety.
- Cooling system (chiller): Controls die temperature, which is critical for stabilizing the casting process and casting quality.
- Compressor equipment: Supplies pneumatic lines for the automation and drives of the various line units.
Post-processing and inspection equipment:




- Trim press: Used to remove gating systems and flash from castings.
- Shot-blasting or sandblasting unit: Cleans contamination from the casting surface and improves its adhesion properties.
- Grinding and polishing equipment: Used for finishing casting surfaces to achieve the required roughness.
- Inspection and measuring equipment: Verifies geometric dimensions and controls surface quality of finished parts according to technical requirements. Engineering systems:
- Gas cleaning and ventilation system - designed to effectively remove fumes and melting by-products, ensuring safe working conditions.
- Power supply and load distribution - ensures stable operation of furnaces and presses, which is critical for continuous production.
