MT-400 is the entry model in Modern Technologies’ line of semi-automatic pattern machines for lost foam: it sinters expanded-polystyrene patterns in a mold, runs on pneumatics with no hydraulics, and does not need a highly skilled operator. It suits base-package mini-plants and short-run pattern production.
The machine reproduces complex geometry and handles different pattern sizes within a 400x400 mm flask; several parts of different complexity can be sintered on one machine at the same time.
