Design advantages

The melting unit’s housing is made of thick aluminum sheet; the furnace tilts via an electric motor and gearbox, and the thyristor frequency converter uses an adjustable rectifier followed by inversion. The manufacturer states this gives one of the best price-to-quality ratios among induction furnaces, with a fast payback thanks to high output and low running costs; the design is compact and takes up little shop floor space.

The closed-loop LSN-40B cooling system

A closed-loop cooling tower with a water-based, sealed circuit protects the pipework from clogging, while circulating distilled water in the closed loop protects the power supply, thyristors, capacitors and induction coil from overheating. No large water reservoir is required — the system takes up little space and is easy to install and relocate; the circulation pump is 4 kW, the spray pump 1.5 kW, the fan 0.75 x 2 kW, the tower measures 3,365 x 1,250 x 2,480 mm, and it weighs 1,000 kg.
