1. In-house production of assemblies, products and equipment
1.1. Foundry, machining and machine-building production
Direction: organizing foundry businesses at different capacity levels.

1.2. Actuator production
Product: actuators - devices that convert energy into mechanical motion for the automation, precise regulation and emergency shut-off of pipeline valves (valves, dampers, cocks).
Market niche and customers: the products target the oil and gas industry, power generation, water supply, and the chemical and food industries. There is a potential buyer in the form of SOCAR.

1.3. Coriolis flowmeter production
Product: Coriolis flowmeters for direct, high-accuracy (±1-0.5%) measurement of the mass flow of a liquid or gas.
Technological base: the operating principle is based on the Coriolis effect that arises when a substance moves through a vibrating tube. The design includes a vibrating tube, an oscillation exciter, displacement sensors and an electronic signal-processing unit.
Development plan: a ready team of programmers is prepared to come to Astana, to the Nazarbayev University campus, to develop and launch production within 3 months.
Competitive advantage: creating domestic equivalents that will be 25-40% cheaper than imported ones. This will make it possible to take a significant share of a market dominated by foreign brands such as Emerson and Endress+Hauser. Download the presentation
2. Production and sale of equipment of our own design
Direction: supply and integration of ready-made industrial solutions for key industries. We offer equipment that solves the specific tasks of our clients in the following sectors.
2.1. Range of equipment offered
- Foundry equipment. Comprehensive solutions for foundries, including vacuum film molding (V-process), lost foam (LFC) lines and no-bake (cold-setting) lines. We set up turnkey foundry businesses.
- Power equipment. Supply of modular “Federatsiya” vortex burners for coal combustion, which cut the cost of energy by 2-3 times.
- Instrumentation and control. Sales of industrial actuators and Coriolis flowmeters from leading global and Russian brands (Emerson, Rotork, AUMA, Berkut).
- Food industry equipment. Compact eco-mills for producing fresh flour.
- Environmental equipment. Plastic waste recycling plants and industrial filters.
3. Sale of components, installation and training (from China and Turkey)
Competence: Modern Technologies is an international engineering company with many years of experience in international trade and the import of products from China, Turkey and Iran into Russia and Kazakhstan.

5. Development of innovative projects under the control of Modern Technologies
Modern Technologies acts as a competence center that initiates and oversees the development of breakthrough industrial technologies.
5.1. Energy project: an environmentally clean pulverized-coal power plant
Concept: developing and building cost-effective coal-fired power plants with environmental performance better than that of gas-fired plants.
Economics: the cost of 1 kW is $0.004 versus $0.07 at gas-fired plants. Construction cost is $1 million per 1 MW, and $7-8 million for a serial 10 MW plant.
Technology: based on the modular “Federatsiya” burner with a combustion efficiency of up to 94% and a service life of up to 6 years. Download the presentation
5.2. Construction project: concrete foaming
Innovation: an efficient and elegant system for foaming concrete by injecting liquid CO2 or propane directly into the concrete mix.
Application: allows monolithic sandwich panels to be cast on site in the workshop, with the reinforcing and insulating layers forming a single monolith.
Advantages: savings - walls need no additional insulation with foam blocks or polystyrene; efficiency - there are no thermal bridges; strength - with minimal foaming the structure gains micro-ribs of stiffness that increase the strength of the concrete. Download the presentation
5.3. Food industry project: mini eco-mill
Concept: a project aimed at the market of small and medium-sized bakeries, offering a unique opportunity to produce fresh, tastier and healthier flour on site.
Technology: uses a harmless principle of step-by-step crushing that preserves the beneficial properties of the grain.
Status: a prototype with a capacity of 200 kg/hour has been built and tested. Download the presentation
5.4. Ecology project: plastic waste recycling
Concept: a technology for processing contaminated, unwashed and unsorted plastic waste into marketable products.
Innovation: a liquid physical foaming reagent (PFR) is used that “cross-links” different polymers (PVC, LDPE, HDPE and others), forming strong side bonds and radically improving the physical characteristics of the end product.
Finished products: Euro pallets, crates, car bumpers, floating piers, boats and road barriers. Download the presentation
6. Innovations in foundry technology
This is our key direction, where we offer proprietary developments with no equivalents, capable of revolutionizing foundry production.
6.1. High-quality casting with foam removal (FMDP)
Technology: film molding with dissolvable patterns (FMDP) is our unique method combining the advantages of investment casting, lost foam casting and vacuum film molding.
Principle: a polystyrene pattern is coated with a special film and then placed in sand. Before the metal is poured, the foam is not burned out but dissolved with a solvent, which is then removed. The film protects the mold from contamination by decomposition products.
Result: high-quality castings of complex shape at minimal cost, comparable in quality to investment casting and V-process castings.
6.2. Safe V-process system
Problem: the high cost of the flask for vacuum molding, which accounts for up to 50% of the cost of the entire molding complex and is a barrier for many producers.
Our solution: a safe molding technology has been developed in which the dimensions of the pattern tooling itself determine the dimensions of the mold.
Advantage: this makes it possible to produce castings of very different sizes on the same universal equipment, giving unprecedented production flexibility.
6.3. Advanced casting methods and components
Cassette production method (CPM). A cassette method has been developed that allows two mold halves to be made in parallel. This method substantially reduces costs, halves the number of operating staff and lowers the cost of blanks by 20-25%.
“Liquid film”. This is the key component, the main feature of the FMDP technology. The pattern is coated with a thin layer of liquid film (for example, EVA grade). Once set, this film creates a strong, airtight barrier. It prevents contact between the solvent and the molding sand and eliminates the need for subsequent complex heat treatment of the mold.
7. Oil and gas industry projects
7.1. Gas lift
Gas lift is a local automatic gas distribution unit designed for:
- regulating pressure and distributing gas in closed systems;
- automatically maintaining the set supply parameters;
- integration into industrial and municipal gas supply systems.
7.2. Gas calorimeter
The gas calorimeter is designed to measure the calorific value of natural gas in local gas networks, at gas distribution stations, at the metering units of individual gas consumers and in various industries for commercial settlements for natural gas. Download the presentation
